Situated at heights of up to 1120 mm, the frame of the new Arocs is 115 mm higher than that of comparable Actros. Off-highway trucks and concrete mixer chassis are further 45 mm higher.
Arocs: 14 cab options to choose from The choice of cabins for the new Mercedes-Benz Arocs has reached an unprecedented level of variety not previously seen in the construction sector. Customers are provided with 7 cabins and 14 finishes to choose from. The range includes 2.3 m wide L and M cabs and a 2.5 m wide S cab. They are united by their recognizable radiator grille design.
The 2.3m cab has proven to be extremely beneficial across a wide range of offerings. The compact design provides sufficient comfort for short distances and on construction sites. If the vehicles are intended to be used over long distances, the customer has the right to choose the wide and spacious version of the StreamSpace and BigSpace cab, 2.5 meters wide, in which a flat floor is also available.
In creating the Arocs, the engineers inherited some important design elements from the Mercedes-Benz Actros and Antos. Nevertheless, the design of the new Mercedes-Benz Arocs remains exceptional and completely distinctive.
Top-class interior work The interior is primarily focused on solving transport problems. The appearance is characterized by a simple and durable anthracite colored surface. The black finish of the cab gives the impression of being robust, yet constructed from very high quality materials.
Measuring instruments for Arocs are also at their best. Multifunction steering wheel, instrument cluster and controls: Levers and switches are patterned after Actros. Thanks to the standard TFT color display on the dashboard, the driver has access to all important information about the vehicle and its operating condition. The new Arocs uses the Mercedes PowerShift 3 automatic transmission as standard, which inevitably translates into daily fuel savings.
Technical innovations such as the hydraulic auxiliary drive are capable of achieving fuel savings of up to twelve percent compared to permanent all-wheel drive, at a time when the latter is rarely used. In addition, the FleetBoard EcoSupport telematics system, which also helps to save fuel.

Arocs: all known security systems available Arocs provides the operator with all the possible safety systems that are used in the new Mercedes-Benz Actros. Depending on the configuration of individual Arocs models (N3 or N3G), electronic brake control EBS with circular disc brakes, ABS – anti-lock braking system and electronic stability control (ESP) are available. Also available as an option are Lane Keeping Assist and the latest generation of the unique Active Brake Assist 3, which is able to initiate a full depression of the brake pedal in the event of a collision with a stationary obstacle.
