All through the first to middle '70s, visionaries like Kool DJ Herc presented new suggestions to just how music was played. Afrika Bambaataa turned an important music company in their own right. He used a lot of time signed in at Tommy Boy Documents between 1982 and 2005. In New York winters of the 70s, we sported hats like Kangols (still popular) and 'Robin Hoods'(with side feathers) on the dome. Some folks liked toboggins and skiing limits for his or her 'masking' feature. Brooklyn later picked up a pseudonym—Crooklyn. Our 70s fashion also contained decorative silk shirts (Versace predecessors), cotton pants with attached pleats operating down the factors named Swedish Knits, and bell-bottom orange jeans with zippers at the foot.

My New York winter-wear included snorkels, sheepskins, leathers, 'Maxie' and 'Cortefiel' coats with smooth hair on the collar; they certainly were the rage. People got caught up (ganked) for them, too. I once observed someone get a friend's cap next to his head – as the prepare opportunities closed (this guy was rapid!)
A few of my 'classic' garments continue to be unchanged: a black Robin Engine cap with a now-wilted side feather, a decorative, winged (big collar) cotton shirt with a Disco theme on the front, my sky-blue senior school graduation three-piece match, 'Mack' full-length Maxie fur (it looked great; mother produced it), and black Cortefiel fur are typical stored around Area 51.
