This is one of the lessons I’ve learned in my more than three decades in the gambling industry analyzing the performance of casino games and as a researcher studying them. Despite the fact that the low-priced games were only three feet apart, further investigation revealed no evidence of play migration. Importantly, these results occurred in spite of the egregious economic disincentive to play the high-priced games.
