March release batch arriving – 24 new stamps

And when it rains, it pours!

We were chatting in another topic yesterday, the collectors community looks forward to the usual release batch arriving near the end of a month, with stamps which will be unlocked soon, in the next month.

That happened, and it is a large batch – 24 new stamps in total, I could not even post images for all of them at Reddit, as it allows only 20 images max in a post. But here they are. πŸ˜ŽπŸ‘

Listing them by Category so it's easier to grasp...

New Premium Sports themed stamps

These are premium and likely to sell for 25 coins each - like we experienced with the recent Rugby, Polo, etc stamps from February 2022.

If Slowly follows the same methodology, the stamps will first appear on a country that has a Tournament in the month. And later it could appear in some other country where there's another similar event. The stamps should be added to the Time Machine soon after their initial releases close, as happened with the Rugby, Polo, American Football stamps.

Basketball

Formula 1

The official Formula 1 racing calendar lists a Grand Prix in Bahrain, on March 26 to 28. Other races in April, May, etc could also have local country releases for this stamp

Golf There are a number of upcoming Golf Tournaments in March 2022. A listing at CBS Sports has various possible events in the USA which could be the trigger for this release.

The World Golf Championships, March 23-27, in Austin, Texas, is very likely the one.

This post will be updated as more information becomes available.

Hanami is the Cherry Blossom Festival. The date for this is a bit uncertain ?

Sakura bloom depending on the climate of each region, starting from the warmest place in the Southernmost of Japan – Okinawa – as early as late January. Then they will gradually spread to the Northern parts in late March and early April or until May in Hokkaido.Β

So, Hanami festivals are held early in the Southern areas and later in Northern Japan. For that reason, people can travel from South to North to enjoy Sakura while immersing themselves in this festive season all over the country. Every year, the weather forecast centers will predict the time of the cherry blossom bloom, notifying their citizens of the dates and the most beautiful areas so people can prepare for the Hanami festivals.
